Why we verify
Island Intellects tutors may work with children. We verify every tutor's identity and background before approving their profile. This keeps our platform safe for families across the Caribbean.
Passport, national ID card, or driver's licence. Must clearly show your name and photo.
A teaching certificate, degree, diploma, or letter from a school confirming your teaching role.
Required for tutors offering in-person sessions. Strongly recommended for all tutors. Must be dated within the last 12 months.
Optional but highly recommended. Tutors with a police record on file are marked as ✓ Fully Verified.
